PLAY’s Mission to Support Wellbeing in Boulder
Since PLAY Boulder was founded in 1976, the organization has been striving to expand access to sports & recreation, to preserve Boulder’s environment, and to enhance local public spaces. Today, as our community faces the impacts of climate change, rising cost of living, and stress that weighs on mental and physical health, we believe our work is as vital as ever.
In 2023, PLAY Boulder has plans to expand our PLAYpass program to provide more eligible youth with sports & recreation opportunities, to relaunch our Tree Tender volunteer force as we strive to equitably expand the urban canopy in Boulder, and to supply aid for the planned renovations at North Boulder Park to provide our community with more green space to get out, play, and reset.
Colorado Gives Day is just 1 week away on Dec. 6, and you can directly support our continued investment in the Boulder community with a donation to PLAY Boulder. Every donation made through coloradogives.org is boosted by the $1M Incentive Fund.
