Thank you for your support on Colorado Gives Day!
PLAY Boulder expresses our immense gratitude for the support we received on Colorado Gives Day. This year was one of our strongest yet - thanks to the support of our incredible Boulder community, we saw a considerable increase in donations from returning and new donors alike!
Through these contributions, PLAY Boulder will be able to go forth with our exciting plans for 2023. We will be putting more PLAYpasses in the hands of Boulder youth to get out and play, kicking off tree plantings to expand our urban canopy in areas of town where tree cover is sparse, and supporting placemaking projects that will foster more spaces for the community to come together.
Our Foundation’s work truly would not be possible without your support. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every one of you who made a donation! We cannot wait to continue serving this wonderful community in the new year.
Do you believe in…
Access to recreational programs for all people of all abilities & Incomes?
protecting boulder’s environment - specifically, the health and future of its tree canopy in the face of emerald ash borer disease?
creating exceptional parks and recreation facilities that set boulder apart as a community that believes in the intrinsic value of staying active and being outdoors?
If so, your donation - small or large - can make a difference! The PLAY Boulder Foundation is the official nonprofit partner of the Boulder Parks and Recreation Department, and we carry forth its mission with programs that support the following pillars of the Boulder community:
Access | Environment | Placemaking
We know that you understand a city’s richness can come from the way its citizens cultivate outdoor and recreational services. Make your mark today and know that your donation directly supports the following:
Knocking down financial barriers for children in Boulder who can’t afford childhood recreation and sports programs.
Providing programming and scholarships to people with disabilities who want to enjoy being active via adaptive modalities.
Protecting and expanding Boulder’s urban tree canopy through education and tree services.
Enhancing urban parks and recreation facilities that can’t be fully supported by tax dollars alone.
