Kathy was born in Oslo, Norway and grew up in El Paso Texas.  She and her husband moved to Boulder in the fall of 2015, after having visited her son at CU Boulder over the years. She has two grown children: a son in Boulder working for NEON Labs and a daughter in Denver working for Southwest Airlines as a recruiter. Kathy has worked in IT for over 32 years as a programmer, systems analyst, technical lead, project manager, technical support manager and release manager. 

Kathy enjoys hiking and has done ten 14’ers with her husband. She loves to cook and bake and garden. Kathy is passionate about the work of Play Boulder Foundation and does a fantastic job supporting us as treasurer!
