Join the Duck Race!

Whether it’s a civic organization, school, company, or neighborhood, starting a duck race team is a great way to add a little competitive fun to “fun”draising!

To create a team, just click here!

Once you set up your team, encourage your customers, family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, loose acquaintances etc. to adopt ducks or donate to your team. All individual adoptions AND all teams are eligible to win the prizes we will have up for grabs on race day.

Let’s get quackin’!

Team Creation Basics

1. Set up a team with PLAY Boulder. We encourage you to come up with a fun, quacktackular name

2. Set a goal! Reach for the sky. If you fall short, at least you’ll probably land in the water.

3. Encourage the community to adopt ducks to build your team. Visit our Social Media Tool Kit for images and starter text ideas that you can use.

4. In addition to duck adoptions, you can plain ol’ fundraise for the cause.

5. Compete against other teams for the most adoptions and donations to be eligible for recognition and special team prizes awarded at the Duck Race on August 27!

Tools to Help Teams

We have a social media tool kit with imagery and suggested copy to help get you started

For businesses, civic organizations, and other location-based teams, we can loan a large (~10”) display duck to be returned at the race.

We can provide a PDF duck race flyer with your team name, logo, and QR code to help promote adoptions.
