Charles (Chuck) is a research scientist at NOAA who uses research aircraft to make measurements to better understand air quality and climate climate change. He’s a longtime Boulder resident who is an advocate for making Boulder a place where nature is nurtured and everyone has access to recreation activities indoors and outdoors, regardless of their ability to pay. Chuck previously served on Boulder’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, and is currently a member of Community Cycle’s Advocacy Committee and and editor with the Boulder Housing Network.
Chuck loves hiking, cross country skiing at North Boulder Park, biking for exercise, fun, work, and errands, and going to Boulder’s great recreation centers and parks. He is passionate about all of Play Boulder’s mission and programs, specifically the Tree Trust, the Community Forestry Corps, and the PLAYPass programs.
